 In my opinion the historical events is about his life, he actually struggle with his life lost of mind because of "mature" desire, don't thinking about it is bad thing, as long as he want do something he will do. In the old time he realized that if can be back he want to go back in child which pure, happy, do not contain with bad things that happen in this life, he realize if died he will going back to who made him and become what he made before.

Around 17th-century metaphysical poets in the 20th century, or 1646-1650s, the response is neglected, and even During the time the Church of England was outlawed and radical Protestantism was in ascendancy, Vaughan kept faith with Herbert's church through his poetic response to Herbert's Temple.

3.What social attitudes related to the action in the work were prevalent during the time it was written?

Biography because the biography conclude the history of someone life, from someone was born until died everything, what is  the religion, what is someone always do is draw in biography.

5.To what extent can we study the past as it is reflected in the literary work?
Because the literary works always contain about the past events and future both of these are in package sometime back to past and another time go future again, and also there is literary works that has past events only but it always giving the advice, what will we do if we past the past not in straight out but implied.
